Date of Birth: July 2, 1953
Nickname: Freddie or Tookie

Frederick was wearing faded brown corduroy overalls with a long sleeve polo shirt.

Freddie was last seen by his mother walking down the driveway of his rural home at approximately 9:00 a.m. in Grahamsville, New York on May 25, 1955. His older siblings were at school and his mother was working in the garden when he disappeared. Freddie stopped in a cobbler's shed next to his home and spoke to his family's landlord. This is the last known sighting of him.

The police investigation initially focused on Freddie's parents and their landlord. Both parents passed polygraph tests and were cleared as suspects. When police searched the landlord's residence, they found numerous stolen items hidden in his garage and he was jailed. No one has ever been named as a suspect in Freddie's disappearance.

Freddie's mother always believed her son was kidnapped and sold. His sister said he had long hair when he disappeared, and speculated that someone could have disguised him as a girl to evade detection. Freddie's parents died in 1968 and 1979, respectively. Five of his seven siblings have also died in the years following his disappearance, but two of his sisters are still alive and hope he may be found.

In spite of a massive search of approximately 1,000 people, including police, firemen, and volunteers, a blood hound and a helicopter, no sign of the child has ever been found.
