Human Remains found in Knoxville, Tn
KNOXVILLE, TN - The sheriff's office said human remains were found Friday afternoon in North Knox County.
Officers responded to the 6000 block of Texas Valley Road shortly after
4:00 p.m. A nearby resident discovered the remains in the woods.
The cause of death is under investigation. It's not known whether the victim is male or female. The age is unknown as well.
The sheriff's office forensics unit and the Knox County Medical
Examiner's Office processed the scene and detectives are investigating.
