Kevin has a scar on the right side of his chin and a cleft chin; he has a hearing impairment; his speech skills are limited.
Kevin was last seen on September 30, 1982 playing in the upstairs area of his family's summer home in Sugarbush Township, Minnesota. His mother went outside for a few moments; when she returned, Kevin was nowhere to be found. His brother was still inside the home, which was about 10 miles north of U.S. Route 2.
