On September 1, 2004, Jesse Morgan Hicks, Jr. disappeared without any apparent reason. According to the Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office, Hicks was last seen driving his 2004 maroon Ford F-150 truck around 12:30 p.m. in the Blenheim area of Albemarle County. Hicks last spoke to a friend on that September day around 2:00 p.m. No one has seen or heard from Hicks since, including his wife and family.


Four days later on September 5, 2004, Jesse Hicks' Ford F-150 was found abandoned in a parking area off Route 29, near the intersection with Route 6 in Nelson County.

Over the last five years, investigators with the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office say they have investigated several leads in the case, but still lack key information needed to locate the missing man.

A cash reward of up to $10,000 is available to anyone who can provide information leading to Hicks’ location.
