"The Sandra Long Memorial Fund is offering a reward of up to $5,300 for
information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible
for the murder of Long, according to a Maryland State Police press
release. An additional reward of up to $1,000 is also being offered by
Calvert County Crime Solvers.
Long, 43, was discovered
unresponsive at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, by hunters, who
found her in her the front seat of her silver 2009 Ford Focus near
Calvert Cliffs State Park at the intersection of Camp Canoy Road and
H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby, the press release states. Because the body
was found in a state park, the investigation was given to the Maryland
State Police Homicide Unit, located in Pikesville."
