Urgent Missing : Oregon

9/15/2012: Salem, Oregon: Corban University officials are asking for the public's help locating a 21-year-old student who was last seen on Wednesday, 9/12/2012. Sophomore Luke Atkinson was last seen in his dorm room, and his roommate told s

chool officials he had been sick with flu-like symptoms.

Atkinson runs cross country for Corban and did not meet up with his team as scheduled Friday evening for a competition Saturday morning. He is known to run on the university's trails and surrounding roads.

Corban spokesman Sheldon Traver tells the Statesman Journal that people are searching for Atkinson on and off campus, and the Salem Police Department has a missing person's report.

Corban is a private Christian university in Salem.
