UPDATE FOUND MURDERED: Nationwide manhunt underway for missing woman’s ex-boyfriend possibly en route to Mexico
Two candles and a ring of white roses mark the spot where a woman's body was found Monday under a juniper bush in Aurora.
Authorities aren't releasing the woman's name yet, but friends say it's Bertha Garcia, 23, who was reported missing early Sunday morning.
Police are searching for Garcia's ex-boyfriend, 32-year-old German Medina, but have yet to issue an arrest warrant.
Friends told 7NEWS on Tuesday that Garcia and Medina broke up weeks ago, and that Medina kept calling her, trying to get back together. They said Garcia told him, "No."
Police said a man came to visit Garcia Saturday night and that she walked him out to his car just after midnight.
