FLEMING COUNTY Ky. (WSAZ) – Kentucky State Police say a migrant worker has been charged with murder in the deaths of two people whose skeletal remains were found in Fleming County in April.
Troopers arrested 27-year-old Mariano Arias early Thursday morning.
The two sets of remains were found in a drainage ditch on Delaney Road in Fleming County in April.
In May, the State Medical Examiner's Office confirmed one set of remains was believed to be a Hispanic female between 17-25 years old.
The other set of remains is believed to be a male, approximately the same age as the female,or possibly older. Both sets of remains are believed to have been in the area from 4-36 months.
