Endangered Missing
Age in 2011: 27
Date of Birth: May 1, 1984
165 cm (5'5"); 50 kg (110 lbs).
Long, blonde, straight hair; blue eyes.
Jesokah has a scar on her chin and she is right handed.
She was wearing a light blue sweater, a dark blue cotton hoody style sweater, dark blue jeans and running shoes.
On September 26, 2001 at approximately 9:30 pm, Jesokah was seen standing at a bus stop near Saseenos Elementary School at 6066 Sooke Road in Sooke, British Columbia. She had been visiting a friend earlier. She was believed to be headed back to the house she shared with a roommate in the 6600-block of Sooke Road, about two kilometres from the bus stop, to feed her dog. Jesokah was never seen again.
When she vanished, Jesokah had just moved out of her parent's home in a bid for a first fling at independence. It was a move the parents supported. Jesokah was working toward graduating from high school -- she was a student at Edward Milne -- and had plans to become a nurse. At the time of her disappearance Jesokah was residing in the Sooke area with a roommate. She was a very social person and was well known throughout the Sooke and Port Renfrew communities. She associated with people from all walks of life, she hitch hiked regularly from points anywhere between Port Renfrew, Sooke and Victoria.
Today, a memorial lies close to where she was last seen and each year friends gather there to draw attention to their missing friend.
Police and her parents immediately suspected foul play.
